My hair is naturally straight so a bit of curling wand can give it a volume and style sometimes. It’s my first time to try xtava brand. It comes on it own packaging which looks presentable and would make a great gift.
The pack content included a travelling bag, heat resistant glove to protect your skin from getting burn. Everything you need to know is in the user manual. The wand or barrel appeared to be a bit thick compare to other curling wand. This is the only thing I can fault because it’s difficult to reach the back of your hair especially if you have a short length.
You can turn it on & off at the middle button and you can control the temperature with the left and right arrow button. The temperature does heat up quickly. It does provide a good quality of curl which is nice. I thought it’s a good value of money for its price of £20 at Amazon ( price at time of this review ) I’m pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it. Check out my video review on YouTube.
Disclaimer : I was sent the xtava curling wand for the purpose of this review. However, all thoughts and opinion are my own.
I was sent to try and test this nono hair remover. I don't have that much hair on my arms and legs so when it comes to hair removal, it's just my underarm that concern me. I usually shave them as I find plucking painful and takes so long. I want everything quick, like shaving, but my problem is that they grow quickly and I needs to shave several times a week to keep it at bay.
I have seen good and bad reviews of the nono hair remover and to see its price which is £149.99 I thought it's a bit pricey so it has to be worth it. Personally, I was scared to use it the first time because I don't know how to properly use it. It's important that you read the user manual.
The package content included :
No no micro
Charger
Pouch / bag
Wide and narrow tip
Cleaning brush for the tip
Accessories
First charge it took at least 5 hours. It comes with 2 tips: Narrow tip for small sensitive areas like face, neck, underarm, and bikini line. Wider tip for large areas like the arms, chest and back.
Before using it you have to make sure that the area is clean and dry and free of any chemical such as cream and deodorants etc. I would also recommend practicing on smooth and even skin surface like your legs or arms before moving to face, underarm and bikini line.
You glide the no no micron at 90 degree angle, with the roller flat against your skin and the logo facing in the direction you are travelling. You have to glide one way only and use a steady, smooth and even motion. When you are gliding at the proper speed, a blue light will be steady. You may need to glide 4-6 passes then buff after each treatment. Also when using it, you may notice a burning smell because the pulse is meant to target hair follicle, not just the hairs themselves, to slow down the growth of hair for semi permanent hair removal.
I have noticed that it has slowed down the growth of my underarm hair since using it but when it comes to removing hair, it won't immediately remove my under arm hair as fast as shaving, it is definitely a long term treatment.
Conclusion
Personally, at first few uses I felt that it hadnt really removed a lot of hair and I thought that it's not working for me. However, to be fair with the no no micron hair removal, it's meant to be use through a period of time before seeing a result. It takes time and patience as everyone has a unique pattern of hair growth. This will work easier for thinner hair compare to thicker hair. I've notice that when I tried it on my arm hair which is thinner compare to my underarm's hair which is thicker.
You also have to be careful when using it as you might get burn or your skin gets too warm. Personally, I don't know if I can justify the price because it didn't easily remove the hair on my underarm. Maybe this isn't good for a quick or instant result but for a long term use. If you ever buy this product, make sure you give it a try for a longer period time before deciding and have a look for a return and refund policy. The warranty period is valid for 1-2 years in Europe.
Now, it's up to you to decide weather it's a nono hair or no buy!

I decided to start wearing glasess when I realised I couldn’t read the plate number of the car when I was asked at my first driving practical exam. That’s when I found out that I needed a prescription eyeglasses. Although, during my school year I have always wanting to sit near the classroom blackboard to see the writing. It never appeared to me that I was short sighted. Even when people at a long distance wave at me that I don’t seems to notice them and I end up ignoring them. I never thought that at such an early age my eyes can’t see clearly. I just ignored everything and just carry on with life even reading book in a poor light place. I remember when I was young that my grandmother use to warn me not to read when it’s dark bcos it’s not good for my eyesight.
Now being a spectacle wearer, at first it seems weird and I hate it sometimes. I thought I look ugly with my eye glasses especially when taking pictures. The flash or the light will reflect on my eye glasses. I have to remove them and it’s also annoying when we have to go swimming. If I remove them it’s blurred but if I wear them, they are no good either when they get wet. One more thing is that when it raining and there is a steam on my glasses and can’t see a thing if it’s get wet. I wish I don’t have to wear glasses if I’m being honest, summer always left me with a mark of my eye glasses on my face if I get more darker. Also wearing make up can be difficult as my mascara will smudge into my glasses. One more thing, being a spectacle wearer is that I can’t really style my hair with headbands or any accessories as I have to consider my eyeglasses. I feel like there is so much limitation when wearing a glasses but it’s so important with my eyesight. Without them everything is blurred.
Now I can’t live without them hence I was gutted when I accidentally broke my glasses, as I end up using my prescription sunglasses indoors and at night time for a few days. That’s because without prescription glasses everything is blurred. I look like a weird person wearing them when it’s raining or dark outside. I even use them while doing food shopping at the supermarket and few people stare at me wondering why am I wearing a sunglasses lol
Choosing the right glasses as well can be difficult which always took me longer. It’s the hardest shopping trip for me compare to any sorts of shopping. Specsavers staff were very helpful in helping me find the right pair. They are very hands on and let me choose what I want and took a picture of all the glasses while I was trying them. Based on those pictures I was able to choose what I like best. So in the end, I bought this new glasses which is 2 for £69 and I think they look cool as well except I don’t feel comfortable with them. They seems a bit tight and hurts against the back of my ear and leave mark on the upper side part of my nose. However, it’s nice to know that I can always go back to specsavers to have it adjusted.
I’m pleased with my new glases in terms of quality, style and price. I just wish I could bear using contact lenses. I Might have to be more creative these days to enjoy using and styling my spectacle. I believe that we can all look good in many different ways. I might as well try to be a spectacle model myself who knows lol 😉
So, what do you think of my new eye glasses? Which one do you prefer? Do you wear eye glases? If so share with me how do you style them.
My beautiful Bethany loves helping with my reviewing and was talent spotted by the company Maya’s Bows, who were looking for bow loving girlies to model their bows for them. Bethany was more than happy to help them out! You can check out the Maya’s Bows over on Facebook and Instagram.
Our first delivery arrived and bethany really enjoyed looking through the whole collection. See her reaction here.
She was absolutely overwhelmed at the different styles, they were all so pretty. I was really pleased with the quality and the variety (not all big bows, but little ones on hair grips and on hair ties and different styles of bow too!)

One thing my daughter loves is anything which is special to me and her. I think as the older sibling she feels hard-done-by that Jack needs more attention than her.
I try to have special Mummy and Bethany days but sometimes bethany needs an extra treat and I simply love these mummy and me bracelets from It’s Handmade. They have kindly offered any of my followers a 10% discount, simply link through from this review, please note these are affiliate links.

Honestly, I don’t exercise. It’s because I don’t have the time to do so. However, Im preparing myself to do it by collecting fitness accessories I can use in the future. So when I was offered to review this sports bra and pants I took the chance.
I was impress with the quality, fitting and style of this product. Most of all they were comfortable to wear, soft fabric which has a nice feel against the skin. They are both stretchy as well which is good for extra support.
Their sizing chart were perfectly fit me. I’m a uk size 8 so I have ordered size medium as recommended in their size chart.
The sports bra does gives a light support and has a beautiful criss cross strappy style which looks lovely on the back. It has a lovely bust support with additional padded that is removable.
The leggings / pants has an elasticated waist. Also has this stylish bandage that you can tie till the ankle.
Im really pleased with this product and I’m happy to recommend them.
I simply adore the online shop; http://www.magicfairywings.co.uk it covers all sorts of kids accessories and toys; from hair accessories, to ponchos and creative toys to learning toys. 10% discount code is epsamy10
They very kindly sent us a selection of toys.
Bethany has been learning lately about telling the time so this clock was perfect for us and at £11.99 is so well priced.
Such a good idea for home-schooling or just for additional support for school children.
We also had 2 lovely canvas which come with all the tools required to hang it up after your child is finished. At £4.99 each they are a great price, as this includes their paint.
On the reverse of the packet is instructions to show the children which colours to mix to make the different colours needed, this is a bit different to other canvas sets I’ve seen and make it a bit more educational which is nice.
My children spent ages painting up their canvas and are very proud of their works of art! Bethany finished hers in one sitting, but jack has been working on his for days and still has some left to go.
Floral patterned clothes? What do you think of it? Yay or nay?
Personally I love floral because it reminds me of spring and summer. I feel like I’m on a bed of roses everytime I wear floral patterned clothes. Whatever the weather, floral is not just for summer. You can wear it anytime, anywhere and however you like it.
You can wear it on spring / winter if you like. Just team it up with a tights and maybe a light fabric Long Sleeve top that you can roll quarter length.
What about a floral patterned scarf? Perfect to warm you up and adding some colour on your tops or layered clothes during the cold weather.
Party did you say? I’m sure this is very eye catching silver floral patterned gold dress perfect for night out.
This arrived on its own designed brand box which looks presentable and would make a perfect gift to any ladies. Included in the pack is the Hair Straightener , The Heating Base , Heat Resistant Mat , Storage Bag and Instructions.
According to the manual user, the product would heat up to 230 degree Celsius. The proof mat is to protect surfaces and a bag included for storing make it perfect for travelling. You can also use this in curling your hair so you don’t need to bring or use a curling thong anymore which makes this product 2 in 1.
What I love about this product is its cordless feature which makes easier to use which saves time especially when your always in a rush plus the hassle of twisted or tangled cable is no more. The straightener needs to be placed back into the heating base to heat back up between use / styling and it can retain enough heat depending on your hair type. I have a a fine thin straight hair so this is easy to use for me. However, my daughter has a thicker hair and she loves having this straightener to tame her frizz.
The straightener has a ceramic plates which glides easily giving a nice straight and sleek hair. It also heat up very fast so you don’t have to wait that long. This brand is becoming a favourite for my teenage daughter since it’s design is very eye catching. I have already tried few products from Lee Stafford and were all pleased and happy with it. I think this is a nice product making life easier in styling hair.
