You probably know by now that I’m a Tesco orchard member so every campaign they have, I would love to participate and blog about it and share.
This month, it’s all about party food or dessert / pudding and I have chosen to try out their party food. I was sent Tesco £5 voucher and this is what I bought.
Tesco party food were 3 for £5 as well which is a very good value of money. On Christmas Day, we hosted the dinner as my inlaw’s came over for a Christmas celebration and having the Tesco party food as an appetiser was lovely. We have it while having a drink of wine and etc before having Christmas dinner. It’s also perfect to have it while watching film. It made the day relaxing. My inlaw’s thought that the Tesco party food was lovely too so it’s good.
I only cook the hot & spicy prawn and the chicken bites and just enough as a finger food. I have still got the tex mex selection to cook for new year which is good. Thank you Tesco for the free party food taster. #triedforless
This is our appetiser before having the turkey and you can imagine how full we are by the time the main meal we’re served lol
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and wishing you all a prosperous and a happy new year. Good luck for the year 2017 guys ❤❤❤
We have the same Christmas tree every year and it’s not big. Well, it’s okey because our house is not that big so we don’t have much space. My daughter took a video after I just put up our tree and So i would like to share it with you. My daughter’s picture wasn’t there because the boys pictures come from their nursery.
It was a very simple Christmas tree with a fairy light on it. It doesn’t matter how big or beautiful is your Christmas decorations but celebrating Christmas with our love ones is the most wonderful time of the year.
❤ happy Christmas everyone ❤
We had our Christmas party the other day with my Filipino and Malaysian friends. We do this every year to catch up and get together. We also bring our kids with us so you can imagine how we do it lol. Just eat, catch up, give presents and take loads of pictures and selfie 😂
And this what I wore on the day
I recycled this dress from last year Christmas and just team up with red high heeled strappy shoes as well. Our dress theme is something sparkly, glittery, and shimmery there.
Everyone has to bring something to share as we knew how hard to host a party so we all agreed. I made a chiffon cheesecake and put a star to look like a bit of Christmas cake 🙂
The food was lovely, I have really enjoyed it.
We dance and took lots of pictures and just enjoyed the day. It was fun, while our kids made a mess, few cried and few join in and kids took our group pictures as well
Our kids look feed up already haha
And yes we’re having fun with our kids lol
So, this is how we did our Christmas party. It was a total fun, so if you ever attend a Filipino party, just bring the whole family and also a plastic bag for a take away haha.
❤ merry Christmas everyone ❤
My children are 5 and 8 and absolutely love Elf on the Shelf (EotS). We use it part as a “behave” incentive and partly to keep the Christmas Magic alive!
For those who don’t know about EotS, basically the elf is real and keeps watch on the kids during the day (but is still like the Toy Story toys) then flies back to the North Pole every night to report to Santa and in the morning it’s in a different spot in the house, often having got up to naughty tricks.
We don’t have the “original” elf, I find that one creepy, Sparkle is our larger elf (from Ikea) and Jingle is the smaller elf (from Waitrose). The children won Jingle at a Christmas Faye’s and decided to “bring him to life” as a friend for Sparkle, so we now have two elves.
Our elves don’t do fun tricks every night, sometimes they just move to a new position and sometimes they “forget” to move (opps)
Below you will find a few EotS antics which my naughty little elf has got up to:
Jingle and Sparkle go fishing in our goldfish bowl.
Crash landing from the North Pole tonight with a ceiling squish.
Sparkle made us breakfast and nicked some of it!
Sparkle did some cheeky baking.
Using the chalkola chalk markers the naughty elves drew on our family photos (note this is drawn on the glass so will wipe off)
Chalk Pens – Pack of 8 Earth colour markers – Use on Whiteboard, Chalkboard, Window, Blackboard, Bistros Glass – 6 mm Bullet Tip
I will post again with more antics later in December.
